Dear Resident,

On Monday 16th March there was an attempt burglary to a property on Barkston Ave in Chapelfields. On this occasion access wasn’t gained, but please be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the Police. Please see the below advice :

Secure Doors & Windows

Ensure all doors and windows have good‑quality, burglar‑resistant locks. [police.uk]

Use secure doors and key‑fobs and keep windows locked even when you’re at home if you’re not in that room. [police.uk]

Burglars commonly look for open or vulnerable windows/doors to exploit.
